Our goal with "Serpentine and Fair" is to transfer creative energy and make quality jewelry that is timeless and unique. We want to make pieces that feel special to wear.
Inspired by contemporary art, innovative techniques and the historical role that jewelry has played in cultures all over the world. We are influenced by the natural world around us, movement, architecture, artifacts, natural textures, abstract patterns, astronomy, and the human body.
Owner, Designer, and Metalsmith, Georgia Fitt, has over 15 years of experience in metal and goldsmithing as well as a lifetime of artistry and craftsmanship. She is dedicated to work and art that reflects a love of nature, story, mysticism, and socioeconomic, ecological, political, and humanitarian progress.
"I look at each piece of jewelry that I create as a vessel. The piece begins its journey in my imagination and then is drawn and fabricated. When the jewelry passes to the wearer, it holds and transfers all of the intention, time, and energy that has gone into it. This happens again when the piece changes hands and can continue for generations. I believe this transfer of energy and creativity is an amazing gift to share."
Every component of our jewelry is 100% Hand Carfted in our Northern California Studio.
